- Our laboratory examines the development and regeneration of the visual system. We aim to understand the key molecular events that underpin successful axon guidance and topographic map formation. We have used the carbocyanine dyes as neuronal tracers and imaging of retinal projections was performed using the Biorad MRC1000 confocal microscope. Here we present some confocal images showing the development and regeneration of retinal projections.
